DICHROICS TRANSMIT MORE LIGHT, AND PROVIDE RICHER COLOR.

Dichroics transmit an average of 90% of the light, even dark saturated colors are vibrant and bright. Light transmission averages 50% to 60% or less with gels and filter glass.

DICHROICS ARE EXTREMELY DURABLE, PROVIDING STABILITY AND LONGEVITY.

Dichroics are extremely durable, providing stability and longevity. Dichroics stand up to the UV and heat in high-energy light sources. Dichroics are durable up to 700°F on Borofloat or Tempered Plate Glass. Gels fade/melt at > 250°F. Tempered Filter Glass cracks >400°F. Dichroics are low maintenance and rarely need replacement, reducing costs.

DICHROICS LAST FOR YEARS IN ALL TYPES OF LIGHT FIXTURES IN VIRTUALLY ANY ENVIRONMENT.

Dichroics are ideal for permanent installations with the color remaining consistent and true for years. Dichroics may be installed directly in front of, or behind the glass lens, coat or replace the original lens. Dichroics may be used in interior, exterior and underwater fixtures.

Borofloat® is ideally suited for optical applications where resistance to high temperatures is required.
